Avignon food market shopping

I am holidaying in France. After a week in Paris...awesome shop looking, finding the handbag of my dreams and dining in restaurants with  flavour  I have settled in Avignon.

Today I went to the local  maket, Les Halles. The fish was gleaming and the people super friendly. The Mediterranean  varietals were particularly interesting.
... and the butchery was lively.  More about that tomorrow.
